The other day I was reading the beginning of John, and was struck by the fact that when John sees Jesus and annouces him as the lamb of God, two of John's disciples leave him and follow Jesus. One of them was Andrew, and the other was assumedly the beloved disciple himself. Now those verses where John the Baptist exalts Christ take on a whole new significance. He only wanted to point people to Christ, nothing else. We MUST decrease. Help me do it.</description>
